SEO Manager The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of direct reports, with expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, link-building, and performance analysis. You will collaborate closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to improve search engine rankings and ensure best practices. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with SEO tools, and a results-driven mindset are essential. Abilities • Written Comprehension - The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. • Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. • Deductive Reasoning - The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. • Inductive Reasoning - The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). • Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. • Oral Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. • Efficient in English and Spelling Tasks • Provide direct oversight, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members, ensuring professional development and accountability in meeting individual and departmental goals. • Manage departmental operations by monitoring workload distribution, aligning resources, and ensuring adherence to company standards, processes, and timelines. • Develop and deliver executive summaries and performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key outcomes, opportunities, and risks. • Identify industry trends and integrate insights into strategic planning, contributing to long-term SEO innovation and competitive positioning. • Collaborate with leadership to establish, track, and report on department OKRs, ensuring alignment with overall organizational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. • Implement new SEO clients with ranking reports, Google Analytics, Dashboard report and other related reports • Proactively monitor marketing performance of selected accounts, properties and their respective product verticals along with ad-hoc analytic requests • QC newly launched campaigns for completeness and accuracy in accordance with product offerings and department SOP’s • SEO task updates to add keywords to ranking reports, update Google My Business listings, review Google Analytics data, Troubleshoot user experience issues with websites overall • Write SEO copy to improve ad and/or website performance • Administer and analyze Local SEO Check-Up Reports and provide diagnosis/recommendations for current and potential marketing campaigns • Claim, verify, and edit Google, Apple, and Bing local business listings. • Request Admin Access to and/or Configure Accounts for Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools • Perform keyword research in coordination with local client objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO (and PPC advertising) goals – general and keyword specific (Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, H1/H2 Headers, Body Content, Image Alt Text, Landing page optimization, etc. • Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, Robots.txt files, search console tools notifications) for purposes of diagnostic reporting and campaign strategy recommendations • Monitor, administer, and evaluate web analytics dashboard reports (including Analytics, SERPs, Citation Tracker, etc.) and point out key areas of importance in accordance with campaign goals and industry benchmarks. • Work independently, or closely with the other team members, to implement on-page and off-page strategies based on performance analysis and campaign schedule (on-page content updates, build links through citation submission or blog commenting, etc.) • Update images and textual content for Apartment SEO Sites clients • Utilize Salesforce SEO workflows for task management and documentation. • Help to create and support marketing content (blog posts, post scheduling, local content research, etc.) • Monitor and optimize campaigns to ensure KPI’s are achieved • Working closely with the rest of the marketing team on campaigns. • Assist in the measurement and effectiveness of advertising, marketing and communication strategies • Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic Technology • Customer relationship management CRM software - (Salesforce), Google Analytics, GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads Editor, Google Ads, marketing reporting dashboards, Wordpress and other web technologies, various SEO platforms Experience • 5+ years experience in SEO • 2+ Years managing direct reports • 2+ years experience working at an agency Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
