Position Summary: The SLP Team Lead provides a wide range of comprehensive support for ECI staff. This position is an important link between staff and supervisors in the designated area. This position requires a high level of communication, organizational skills, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: • Provides assistance to ECI Supervisor in gathering statistical data and preparing information, as needed and requested for program reporting. • Oversee T-RAD and Apricot Reports to provide feedback to ECI Supervisor on any anomalies and/or trends. Create a plan of action to support ECI staff. • Offer feedback to ECI Supervisors to identify areas of strength and areas that need improvement. • Coordinates training to develop staff knowledge, technical skills, and abilities in the context of case-specific problem solving by utilizing the Coaching Model. • Completes quarterly Coaching Fidelity observations. • Onboard and train new staff. • Offer coverage and coordination of services for staff on vacation and/or time off. • Completes Comprehensive Assessment for referrals when needed. • Provides Speech Therapy services for eligible cases, not to exceed 30 hours per month. • Complete written reports and all necessary paperwork daily and submit paperwork within 48 hours of completion. • Meet agency and program deadlines. • Attend Any Baby Can, program meetings and events as requested. • Other assignments may be added as needed or required. Qualifications: • Licensed Speech Pathology in the state of Texas required. • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech, Language and the Hearing Association (ASHA) required. • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology. • Three years or more of experience providing ECI services. • Knowledge of the physical and psychological development of children. • Ability to be flexible, able to work well under pressure, work on multiple projects concurrently and handle crisis situations. • Experience working with culturally diverse families. • Language skills in English and Spanish, preferred. • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with database applications. Special Considerations: • Must have reliable transportation to travel within the assigned region; if driving own vehicle, must have valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance. • Ability to sit for extended periods of time. • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours per day. • Flexible, able to work well under pressure, and handle crisis situations. • Ability to work independently, as well as an active and collaborative team member. • Ability to sit, stand, and kneel as necessary to fulfill daily duties assigned. • Ability to effectively/clearly communicate.
