What is Takes to be a Part of the Team • Greet every guest with warmth and energy, creating a welcoming first impression. • Manage seating and waitlists efficiently to ensure smooth guest flow. • Accurately handle takeout orders and payments with speed and a smile. • Stay proactive by keeping the host stand and front-of-house areas clean and organized. • Deliver attentive, personalized service that makes every guest feel valued. Responsibilities • Ensure a great guest experience by seating guests promptly and according to their preferences. • Assist with front-of-house tasks such as restocking menus, condiments, and takeout supplies. • Demonstrate menu knowledge to answer guest questions and make informed suggestions. • Understand and follow alcoholic beverage service laws and guidelines. • Maintain a positive attitude and a friendly, welcoming demeanor throughout the shift. • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently. • Remain on your feet for the duration of the shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds as needed. • Uphold ACFP’s commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
