Job Summary: AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. As a Data Engineer Intern for AEG Corporate, you will have a unique opportunity to learn data engineering best practices and gain hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines. The intern can leverage their computer science-related background to help move data into the AEG Worldwide data warehouse. Responsibilities: • Assist AEG Worldwide entities by helping to move, store, and organize data • Help to source data via web scraping and connecting to APIs • Configure servers and databases • Support the department by creating data products that predict and recommend strategic decisions to create new revenue streams Qualifications: • Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable, with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills • Passion for sports and live entertainment • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. • Strong interest in data engineering, database management, and data integration. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure • Desire to learn more about the sports and entertainment industry • Outstanding opportunity to get an inside view across the entire AEG global portfolio: sports, entertainment districts, live music and events, arenas, clubs, and theaters. • Resume review with AEG Talent Acquisition team • Corporate networking Location: Pay Scale: $17.00 - $19.00 AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
