ANINE BING is looking for a temporary Accounting Manager to lead our global accounting operations. This role is a critical member of the Accounting team, responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, managing month-end close, and ensuring accuracy across reconciliations, inventory, and reporting processes. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth, and creative environment. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English, has strong technical accounting expertise, and brings experience managing systems like NetSuite within a consumer goods or retail setting. You’ll play a key role in building scalable accounting processes and supporting special product and operational initiatives across the US and international markets. This position may be remote within the United States, with flexibility required to collaborate across time zones. Candidates based in Los Angeles will have the opportunity to work from our HQ three times a week. Responsibilities Include: Lead and oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP. Manage all aspects of reconciliations, including bank accounts, inventory, and intercompany transactions. Oversee inventory accounting and collaborate with cross-functional partners (Operations, Supply Chain, Retail) to ensure accurate costing and valuation. Maintain and optimize the NetSuite ERP system; identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to leadership. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all general ledger accounts and internal controls. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or manager-level role. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, inventory accounting, and consolidated financial reporting. Fluent in Mandarin and English—ability to communicate effectively with international partners and stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in NetSuite ERP and Microsoft Excel. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment within retail, fashion, or consumer goods industries.
