Job Details Responsibilities Architect, develop, and oversee secure integration solutions for pharmacy systems ensuring compliance with NCPDP Telecommunications Standard and NCPDP SCRIPT (SureScripts) Standard. Lead the design and implementation of robust Pharmacy EDI workflows to support financial and supply chain operations. Develop and maintain APIs and data transformation components using Databricks, Python, and C# .NET, T-SQL, ensuring high performance and scalability. Serve as the technical expert for integration best practices, security standards, and troubleshooting complex interface issues. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across pharmacy operations, compliance, and IT to understand integration requirements and deliver reliable solutions. Oversee the monitoring and optimization of integration workflows to ensure data integrity and system uptime. Create and maintain clear technical documentation for interfaces, data mappings, and workflows. Mentor integration engineers, review code and design deliverables, and promote knowledge sharing within the team. Stay current with evolving pharmacy and healthcare interoperability standards, recommending enhancements to maintain compliance and drive innovation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, interface development, or systems integration within the pharmacy or healthcare domain. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with NCPDP Standards focusing on Telecommunications and SureScripts (SCRIPT). Extensive experience with healthcare EDI transactions Advanced proficiency in Python and C# .NET for building robust integration solutions. Strong hands-on experience with Databricks or similar platforms for data orchestration and transformation. Proven ability to design and manage complex integration architectures, including APIs (REST, SOAP) and secure data exchange protocols. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects. Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), retail pharmacy chains, or health information exchanges (HIEs). Familiarity with cloud-based integration tools and modern data architecture, Azure is preferred.
