ABOUT THE TEAM The Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Business Development (BD) team within the Mission Systems (MS) Division at Anduril is responsible for identifying, shaping, capturing, and growing new opportunities and capabilities to help shape Anduril as a key provider for non-kinetic EW effects for DoD and other customers. BD team members serve as the bridge between clients and the broader Anduril team; they convey client perspectives to other teams across the enterprise while also serving as the Anduril brand ambassador externally. EW BD team members partner extensively with the broader MS division team, to include engineering and program management, to ensure that Anduril products exceed client expectations and mission demands and to drive continuous product improvements in response to client needs. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Director, EW Special Programs Portfolio to lead growth, proposal, and capture for the Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Business Line's Special Counter Measures portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, shaping, and capturing new Special programs (0 to 1). You will also manage an existing portfolio of work, support the program management and engineering teams, develop customer feedback loops, and manage customer relationships (1 to N). This is a unique role that spans business development, account management, and bid and proposal. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the capacity to manage multiple simultaneous projects with many internal and external stakeholders. This role is part of the EW growth team, reports to EW Head of Growth, and will work closely with EW General Manager and Program Managers. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Develop and execute long-term growth strategies. You'll work with EW and company leadership to identify new mission areas, develop entry strategies, and execute those strategies in collaboration with stakeholders from across the company. • Grow existing business, generate new opportunities, and capture new business. Develop a deep understanding of existing and prospective customers, understand current and future EW and ECM products and capabilities, and understand the competitive landscape. Develop and execute coordinated approaches to new business opportunities. Develop and execute comprehensive capture campaigns. • Write and Coordinate Technical Proposals. You will lead technical proposal writing in response to requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFP), and other solicitations. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, program managers, finance, legal, and other specialists. • Support existing Programs. You will collaborate with program managers, technical project managers, solutions architects, and other stakeholders on program management, account management, customer management, and program execution. • Develop and maintain relationships with Department of Defense program offices and relevant stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities, proactively communicate and resolve program issues, and provide strategic direction to Anduril's product development, growth, delivery, engineering, and manufacturing teams. Identify and build relationships with vendor partners. • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and partners. EW provides critical capabilities to Anduril's Family of Systems and often works with third-party vendors to bring the best possible capabilities to our customers. To succeed, you must collaborate closely with business line operations, engineering leads, manufacturing, capture and proposal, other business lines, partner companies, and customers. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Extensive experience with Special Access Programs through government or military service, work with FFRDCs or UARCs, or as an industry representative. • Experience with electromagnetic warfare, signals intelligence, technical intelligence, and/or special operations. • Deep familiarity with the bid and proposal process. • Minimum of 10 years of relevant acquisition, program management, business development, mission operations, systems architecture, and/or capture experience in government and/or private sector in defense technology. • Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of developing, deploying, and sustaining complex technologies, software, and hardware for defense applications. • Ability to identify, establish, and leverage key relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers; ability to translate complex topics, convince, and inspire through the written and spoken word. • Capable of succeeding in a fast-paced, ambiguous, dynamic, and creative environment. • Self-starter, comfortable working with limited oversight. • Ability to travel 25% or more. • Comfortable working in a SAPF / SCIF environment. • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance with SAP eligibility. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Advanced degrees in STEM, international relations, or business administration. • Intimate understanding of and experience navigating the Defense Acquisition Process. • Demonstrated performance leading cross-functional teams and managing organizational resources.
