How You'll Help Us Connect The World: As a Field Application Engineer on our ANDREW HELIAX® Team, you will support and drive growth for our HELIAX® product line, supporting Fiber-to-the-Antenna and RF Connectivity solutions. This role involves business development, new product development, field sales support, and field technical support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to expand our portfolio, troubleshoot field issues and ensure successful product launches in the field. A key focus will be system and product architecture, working closely with other business units within ANDREW to meet product and customer expectations. This role is remote within the United States, with up to 50% travel to Japan and occasional travel to Australia. How You'll Help Us Connect The World: • .Providing innovative product ideas, customer insights, and research to influence product development from concept through execution. • Consulting with customers to understand requirements, document needs, and define product specifications. • Partnering with Product Management to support new product introduction and ensure products are fit-for-purpose. • Delivering technical assistance through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation support, and maintenance guidance for HELIAX® products. • Providing product and application training to customers and internal teams. • Offering pre-sales technical support for complex HELIAX® applications, including recommending modifications to meet customer network configurations. • Supporting both internal and external customers with product and technical inquiries. • Assisting Sales with proposals, customer meetings, and product strategy development. Focus Areas: • Support and generate opportunities with existing and new customers. • Be the technical subject matter expert for HELIAX portfolio. Required Qualifications: • Experience in wireless telecommunications, particularly in network deployments and customer-facing role(s). • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunication or appropriate industry knowledge with minimum 5-7 years of field/industry experience. • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken). • Proven ability to build trust and rapport with key stakeholders and customers. • A drive to innovate and create new products that address market challenges. • Assertiveness, creativity in problem-solving, and an ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on business growth. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. • Detail-oriented with proficiency in creating technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
