About the Role We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Property Manager to support the daily operations of a diverse commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the property manager, director, tenants, vendors, and ownership to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality property operations. Responsibilities • Assist in the day-to-day management of commercial properties, including office, retail, and industrial assets. • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and service issues. • Coordinate and monitor vendor services, including scheduling, work orders, proposal reviews, and contract compliance. • Support preparation of operating budgets, financial reports, CAM reconciliations, and ownership reporting. • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure property cleanliness, safety, and adherence to building standards. • Assist with lease administration, including tracking expirations, options, certificates of insurance, and compliance items. • Maintain accurate records, documents, and property management systems. • Support project management for repairs, improvements, and capital projects. • Assist with rent collections, invoice approvals, and accounts payable/receivable tasks. • Provide administrative support such as drafting correspondence, preparing notices, and maintaining tenant files. Qualifications • 1–3 years of experience in commercial property management or related field preferred. • Real Estate License is a plus but not necessary. • Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with property management software (e.g. AppFolio) is a plus. • Ability to conduct regular site visits and interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and partners. • Knowledge of commercial real estate practices, lease terminology, and building operations preferred.
