Description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: VP, Client Solutions Department: Strategy & Client Relations Reports to: Chief Growth Officer FLSA Status: Exempt SUMMARY Highly creative, results-driven, and client-focused direct mail creative and production Sales Representative. Responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients, while nurturing and growing relationships with existing clients. This role demands a deep understanding of direct mail creative, data and production services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for exceeding sales targets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients and industries that can benefit from our high-value direct mail creative, data and production services. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new clients. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty. 3. Consultative Sales: Collaborate with clients to understand their unique creative, data and production needs. Provide tailored solutions that maximize the impact of their direct mail campaigns. 4. Creative Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of direct response creative designed direct mail formats to effectively advise and consult with clients on their direct mail projects. 5. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed quarterly, and annual sales targets and revenue goals. 6. Market Knowledge: Continuously research, analyze and stay abreast of the direct mail, marketing industry, and key client vertical markets to identify emerging opportunities and trends that can be leveraged for business growth. 7. Proposal and Contract Preparation: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients. Negotiate terms and close deals. 8. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress. Generate sales reports for management. 9. Collaboration: Work closely with our creative and production teams to ensure client expectations are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university or equivalent work experience. • Proven track record in direct mail creative and production sales, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. • Strong understanding of direct response creative design and direct mail production processes. • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a natural problem solver. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficient in CRM software and other sales-related tools. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and proposals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
