Job Summary The Pre-Litigation Case Manager is a key role responsible for managing personal injury cases from the initial client intake through the pre-litigation phase. This position involves working closely with clients, legal teams, and external parties to ensure efficient case progression and client satisfaction. Responsibilities • Client Communication: • * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-litigation phase • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates, gather information and address inquiries. • Case Evaluation: • * Conduct detailed reviews of personal injury cases to assess liability, damages, and potential legal strategies. • Work closely with attorneys to develop case strategies and action plans • Document Management: • * Organize and manage case documentation, including medical records, police reports, and other relevant evidence. • Ensure all required documents are obtained and properly maintained. • Insurance Communication: • * Communicate with insurance companies, opposing parties, and other involved entities to negotiate settlements and resolve pre-litigation matters. • Coordinate the exchange of information between parties involved in the case. • Medical Records Coordination: • * Request, review, and organize medical records and bills related to clients' injuries. • Collaborate with medical providers to obtain necessary documentation. • Client Advocacy: • * Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their rights and interests are protected during the pre-litigation process. • Work towards fair and timely resolutions for clients. • Settlement Negotiations: • * Engage in settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. • Present comprehensive demand packages supported by relevant documentation. • Case Progression Tracking: • * Utilize case management systems to track and document case progression. • Provide regular updates to attorneys and other stakeholders on case status. Qualifications • Previous experience as a Case Manager or similar role in personal injury law. • Knowledge of personal injury law, case management processes, and pre-litigation procedures. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
