Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide support through analysis, reporting, and visualization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a passion for data, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. Responsibilities • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data effectively. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. • Design and implement ETL processes to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources. • Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for advanced statistical analysis and data manipulation. • Conduct business analysis to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications for database design. • Work with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Talend for database management and querying. • Create documentation using Visio for process flows and project management purposes throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Employ analysis skills to support decision-making processes across the organization by providing timely insights. Qualifications • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management is essential. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is preferred. • Familiarity with programming languages including R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) is advantageous. • Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools like Talend is a plus. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles is desirable. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively. • Experience in database design concepts and practices is beneficial. • Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
