Design and implement IEPs, provide specialized instruction, conduct assessments, facilitate IEP meetings, and collaborate with educational teams primarily in a virtual or hybrid setting.
Must hold a valid California Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Education Credential with CLAD/BCLAD or equivalent and have experience working virtually or in charter schools.
JOB SUMMARY: To serve as Case Manager or SAI Provider for Students in Grades TK-12. Responsible for designing each student’s Individual Education Program (IEP) and/or Specialized Academic Instruction and is responsible for implementation of IEP goals. Provide an instructional program for students in accordance with IEP. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Gathers educational data and drafts student IEPs • Facilitates IEP meetings as Case Manager • Completes progress reports on a quarterly basis • Collaborates with multidisciplinary educational teams to provide a Free, appropriate public education for students with IEPs. • Provides for individualized and/or grouped instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students with varying intellectual abilities, attitudes and cultural backgrounds. • May be responsible for conducting academic assessments as part of a multidisciplinary psychoeducational evaluation. • Evaluates student performance according to the student's progress in relation to clearly stated goals and objectives. Schedules and conducts IEP meetings in compliance with state and local laws and regulations. Writes subsequent and related reports in a timely manner. • Provides student progress reports in accordance with the adopted school grading policy. • Exhibits professional cooperation with school personnel as shown through following proper channels of communications, filing of reports, willingness to participate on committees, and participation in curriculum and other departmental programs. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must hold a valid California Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Preliminary or Clear Education Credential that authorizes service in the position for which applying. CLAD/BCLAD or equivalent required. • Experience working in a virtual environment or charter schools strongly preferred WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed primarily virtual setting with some possible hybrid (on site) services.
