The Software Developer II is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure Kubernetes-based platforms, and DB2-integrated systems. This role independently delivers application features, resolves complex support issues, and contributes to system reliability and performance. This mid-Level Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure Kubernetes-based platforms, and DB2-integrated systems. This role independently delivers application features, resolves complex support issues, and contributes to system reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain .NET web applications and backend services. Support applications deployed in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. Develop and maintain integrations with DB2 databases, including stored procedures and data access layers. Diagnoses and resolve medium to high complexity production issues. Participate in application deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in cloud environments. Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code. Contribute to application performance tuning and optimization. Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and database teams. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and operational standards. Support on-call or after-hours rotations as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–6 years of professional application development experience. Experience supporting production applications in an enterprise environment. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong experience with: C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs) RESTful services and integration patterns. SQL and relational database design. Entity Framework or any other ORM. NextJS or equivalent experience in similar frameworks. Working knowledge of: Azure services. (App Services, AKS, monitoring tools) Kubernetes concepts and containerized deployments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DB2 in production environments Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes concepts. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Competency with React, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript. Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools. Experience working in Agile or DevOps teams. Cloud certifications.
