TItle: Principal Software Engineer /Architect Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months CTH Responsibilities • Define and own cloud and AI architecture, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure solutions aligned to business strategy • Lead Azure platform engineering and migrations • Architect AI/ML and generative AI solutions • Drive enterprise data platform strategy using Microsoft Fabric, Azure • Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for cloud-native application development • Lead delivery across multiple programs, providing technical oversight and solution governance • Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are embedded into all solution designs • Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable technology solutions • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on architecture, cloud engineering, AI adoption, and software development practices • Develop and maintain the enterprise Azure & AI roadmap, aligning investments with business priorities and emerging technology trends Required Qualifications • 10+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications and platforms • 5+ years of architecture experience defining solution, application, cloud, or enterprise architectures • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and platform services • Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI/ML and generative AI solutions • Strong experience with enterprise data platforms, data architecture, analytics, and data governance • Strong programming skills in C#, Python, SQL, and modern software development frameworks • Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and DevOps practices • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines • Insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industry experience preferred • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer, or related certifications preferred • Strategic thinker with hands-on technical depth and the ability to balance architecture vision with delivery execution • Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and ownership skills
