Job Title: Operations Manager - AGG | Req ID: 15168 | HR Contact: Fredric Victor THOMPSON| Location: Addison Office TX ABOUT THE ROLE This position drives strategy execution by overseeing and managing all operations within a defined market and product line. The specific areas of focus include, but are not limited to, employee productivity, operational efficiency, customer service levels, and employee retention and satisfaction by maintaining a positive working environment. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Collaborates with the General Manager and support teams to set objectives and long-term goals for the region. • Transforms high-level objectives into measurable goals for your area, ensuring the successful execution of all approved strategies. • Guides managers to ensure operations meet business objectives. • Supports the region in achieving P&L targets by identifying improvements and leveraging resources. • Participates in the preparation of operating budgets. • Conducts operations reviews to assess cost drivers, monitors operational volumes, material use, and inventory. Also reviews financial statements and KPIs to identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement. • Develops staffing plans, manages personnel including recruitment, supervision, and performance appraisals. Prioritizes staff workloads, develops employee skills, and works with HR on employee development and succession planning. • Continuously improves operations, reduces turnaround times, streamlines processes, and enhances customer service. • Analyzes KPIs to develop strategies and recommendations for improvements. • Collaborates with management to address customer service, union, and fleet-related issues. • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education: Bachelor's degree or 10-15 years of equivalent experience Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree Field of Study Preferred: Operations Management, Business, Civil or mechanical engineering or other related discipline or equivalent experience. Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office and SAP Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to company and customer sites in the SOR region. Additional Requirements: • Strong financial understanding • Excellent leadership skills • A maintenance mindset Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
