Job Summary The Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships – SEBCM is dedicated exclusively to advancing the Amputee Coalition’s national SEBCM campaign and works in direct partnership with the Director of Impact Campaigns, SEBCM Lead. Serving as the Strategic Partnerships Lead for SEBCM, this role oversees partnership strategy, cross-sector engagement, and coalition-building critical to advancing the campaign’s policy, fundraising, and advocacy goals. In close collaboration with the Director of Impact Campaigns and the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Associate Director leads the development, stewardship, and coordination of national partnerships; directs integrated fundraising efforts across corporate, individual, and philanthropic channels; and strengthens relationships with donors, allied organizations, corporate partners, and mission-aligned coalitions. The Associate Director plays a key role in operationalizing SEBCM strategy by supporting state teams through coaching, campaign operations, and resource development; contributing to policy-related materials; and leading SEBCM-branded events and engagement activities. As a core member of the Amputee Coalition’s Senior Leadership Team and SEBCM’s National Leadership Team, the Associate Director collaborates closely with the Policy & Advocacy, Communications, and Development teams to ensure alignment across fundraising, partnership, and advocacy strategies. This position represents the Amputee Coalition with external partners, coalitions, and stakeholders and works to ensure strategic coherence and coordinated execution of SEBCM nationwide under the leadership of the Director of Impact Campaigns. Essential Functions Strategic Partnership Leadership • Lead the development and execution of SEBCM’s national partnership strategy across corporate, nonprofit, healthcare, and mission-aligned sectors with Director of Impact Campaigns • Serve as the Strategic Partnerships Lead, coordinating high-level external engagement with the Director of Impact Campaigns, CDO, the Policy & Advocacy Steering Committee, and the President & CEO to advance SEBCM’s policy, advocacy, and campaign goals • Build, sustain, and steward relationships with SEBCM partners, donors, and coalitions to strengthen long-term engagement and impact • Manage the Vision Council, including member engagement, partnership cultivation, and strategic activation • Establish, launch, and lead a SEBCM-focused National Advocacy Coalition composed of mission-aligned partners and organizations • Coordinate SEBCM-related activities of the Medical and Research Advisory Committee with AC’s COO Fundraising & Revenue Development • Establish annual SEBCM fundraising goals and develop strategies and approaches to increase revenue through corporate partnerships, individual giving, grants, events, and in-kind support with Director of Impact Campaigns and AC’s CDO • Secure resources through grant writing, annual campaigns, events, and sponsorships • Identify and cultivate diverse funding sources and create a detailed plan to initiate and steward new funders with AC’s CDO • Manage fundraising pipelines, donor engagement, and stewardship activities in collaboration with the Development team with AC’s CDO • Provide coaching and guidance to SEBCM state teams on partnership development and local fundraising efforts • Manage SEBCM state teams’ fiscal sponsorship activities where appropriate Signature Events • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of SEBCM’s signature events—including Activation Celebrations, Mobility Days, and the 28x28 Mobility Challenge—to elevate visibility, engagement, and mission impact with support and coordination of AC’s operational teams • Oversee event budgets, logistics, and performance tracking; manage participant and volunteer engagement; and steward event partners to drive growth and long-term involvement • Implement systems for continuous improvement through post-event surveys, partner feedback, and data-driven evaluation • Develop and lead strategies to expand event reach, strengthen stakeholder participation, and enhance overall event experience and outcomes Campaign Engagement & Operations • Partner with Communications and Policy & Advocacy Steering Committee to develop and amplify SEBCM messaging and materials—including social media, newsletters, policy briefs, reports, presentations, and storytelling that highlight campaign progress and partnerships • Support SEBCM national advocate calls, trainings, webinars, and convenings, as well as national conferences and external engagements that elevate the campaign and expand partnership reach • Support state teams through coaching, campaign operations, and resource development, including contributing to policy-related tools and materials • Represent the Amputee Coalition and SEBCM at national meetings, conferences, and events in coordination with leadership Organizational Alignment & Management • Ensure all partnership, fundraising, and event activities are fully aligned with the Amputee Coalition’s mission, vision, strategic priorities, and organizational values • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate SEBCM goals into organizational workflows, communications, and cross-departmental initiatives • Manage contractors supporting SEBCM partnership, fundraising, and event functions, ensuring clarity of scope, accountability, and high-quality outcomes • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members contributing to SEBCM • Perform other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Demonstrate integrity, credibility, and passion for the mission of the Amputee Coalition • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
