You’ll lead our flagship annual summit, manage a portfolio of hosted events (roundtables, workshops, webinars, client experiences), and evaluate sponsored conferences and trade shows to ensure we’re showing up in the right rooms with the right message. You’ll partner closely with Business Development, Partners, and Marketing to align on goals, targeting, and follow-up, while standardizing how we plan, promote, staff, and measure events. You’ll also be responsible for lead capture and reporting, managing vendors and budgets, and creating scalable systems and playbooks so events run smoothly, consistently, and with clear ROI. Key Responsibilities: Build Amplēo’s event strategy framework aligned to company and division goals. Create and maintain an annual cross-company event calendar. Develop and maintain an event playbook (evaluation criteria, planning processes, run-of-show templates, staffing expectations, and reporting standards). Lead planning and execution of Amplēo’s annual summit, including theme, content, speakers, logistics, and attendee experience. Design and manage a portfolio of Amplēo-hosted events (roundtables, workshops, webinars, client engagements, regional events). Oversee all logistics for hosted and sponsored events, including venues, vendors, A/V, production, and on-site execution. Evaluate and recommend sponsored events, conferences, and trade shows based on audience, fit, and ROI. Develop guidelines and expectations for BD, sales, and partners attending events (goals, preparation, talking points, and follow-up). Partner with Marketing to build event-specific promotion, targeting, and campaigns. Define and coordinate creative needs (landing pages, emails, social assets, decks, signage, and collateral). Implement standardized lead capture flows (forms, scanning, session engagement) and ensure proper CRM mapping. Establish clear lead scoring and qualification rules for event-generated leads. Coordinate smooth handoff of leads to BD/sales with clear next steps and SLAs. Track and report on event performance (attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, closed-won revenue, and ROI). Manage event budgets, forecasting, and cost controls. Negotiate and manage vendor relationships and contracts. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the event lifecycle. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across divisions to ensure alignment and consistent execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in event planning and management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of executing successful large-scale events with multiple stakeholders. Strong project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously. Proficiency in event management software and marketing tools.
