Bachelor’s degree, consultative sales and business development training experience for executives, pharmaceutical industry understanding, knowledge of adult learning and instructional design, high emotional intelligence, and willingness to travel.
Description: • Design and deliver effective onboarding, training, and development programs tailored for Amplity’s senior-level business development colleagues. • Partner closely with business line leaders and executives to understand team needs and align training strategies with Amplity’s organizational and revenue growth goals. • Lead interactive sessions such as capabilities presentations, role-playing exercises, and advanced skill development workshops. • Evaluate current and future learning gaps, propose solutions, and deliver customized training programs to bridge these gaps and optimize performance. • Deliver ongoing coaching and actionable feedback to ensure business development leaders effectively apply new skills. • Oversee adherence to training materials and timely completion of all required learning programs. • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback collection and performance analysis. • Optimize training budgets and resources to deliver impactful learning experiences efficiently. • Collaborate with third-party vendors as needed to enhance training content and methodologies. • Maintain expertise in pharmaceutical and biotech industry trends, as well as advancements in training and development technologies. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; preferred fields include Business, Communications, Education, Media, or Life Sciences. • Master’s degree is a plus. • Proven experience in consultative sales and business development training, particularly for executive-level professionals selling complex, high-value solutions. • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and commercialization processes. • Expertise long sales cycle techniques and strategies for engaging key decision-makers in large-budget and complex multi-step negotiations. • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to assess and develop both hard and soft skills needed for success in business development roles. • Willingness to travel as needed. • Proven track record of success in similar role.
