Manage schedules, track deliverables, facilitate file handoffs, document project risks and changes, and support project management team in literacy program content development.
2+ years project coordination experience, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and preferably experience in educational publishing.
Description: • Support the development of print and digital products across Amplify’s Literacy programs, focusing on English Language Arts (ELA) • Assist in creating and monitoring schedules for content development, pre-production, and production phases • Manage day-to-day tasks and deliverables for print and/or digital projects of various sizes • Understand workflows and dependencies of project components and the roles/responsibilities of cross-functional teams • Ensure project schedules are current and track progress of deliverables against key milestones • Facilitate file handoffs to internal and external partners • Assist the project management team with documenting risks, issues, decisions, and change management • Attend relevant status meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items • Review vendor estimates and invoices against work completed • Make recommendations for process improvements where appropriate Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or similar role • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple competing projects • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail • Experience reviewing vendor estimates and invoices and tracking deliverables against milestones • Ability to facilitate file handoffs to internal and external partners • Ability to document risks, issues, decisions, and change management • Comfortable taking meeting notes and following up on action items • Experience working on projects in the educational publishing industry (preferred) • Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at varying levels of an organization (preferred) • Keen interest in a career in project management (preferred) • Spanish language fluency is a bonus but not required (preferred) • Must be able to pass a background check; may be required to provide additional documentation or enhanced screening as required by state/local laws Benefits: • Remote - United States; Remote First (flexible work arrangement) • Contract role expected to end 5/29/26 • Hourly rate $28 • Reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities • Background check required for employment • E-Verify participant
