Up to $60/hour | Aurora, CO | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year | Multiple Openings Position Details • Multiple Openings at the Elementary, Middle, High School Level (AN, IFL or Resource Available) • Full Time, 1.0 FTE • Starting end of July 2026 for the entire school year About the Role Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers to support students in Aurora, CO. In this role, you’ll provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. You’ll work with a collaborative district and a supportive, therapist-run team. Why Join Us • Competitive pay (Up to $60/hour) + stable school-year schedule • Multiple placement options based on your experience and preference • Supportive, local district partnership • W-2 employment with liability insurance included • Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match • Reimbursement for licensure and professional development + referral bonuses What You’ll Do • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs • Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects • Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly • Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs • Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning What We’re Looking For • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license with Special Education endorsement • Strong classroom management and collaboration skills • School-based experience preferred, not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
