Full Description

AMPed Hybrid Academy is seeking a full-time Elementary Teacher (K–5) for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for an educator who is comfortable teaching across elementary grade bands and differentiating instruction based on age and ability within small, mixed-age cohorts. While the primary instructional focus is expected to be in Upper Elementary (grades 3–5), experience with or willingness to support Lower Elementary (K–2) or Middle School (grades 6-8) is an important part of our small-school model. Responsibilities • Teach elementary students across a K–5 span within lower or upper elementary cohorts • Plan and deliver instruction differentiated by age, readiness, and learning needs • Use formative assessment to guide instruction and flexible grouping • Facilitate whole-group, small-group, and individualized learning experiences • Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment • Integrate core subjects through interdisciplinary, project-based learning • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress • Collaborate with colleagues across grade levels to support student growth Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in Education or teaching certificate • Elementary teaching experience Preferred • Experience teaching multiple elementary grade levels • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction within a single classroom • Experience with project-based, inquiry-based, or student-centered instruction Ideal Candidate • Comfortable teaching both lower and upper elementary students • Strong differentiation and classroom management skills • Flexible, reflective, and collaborative • Interested in a small-school, hybrid learning environment Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Paid time off • Professional development assistance Application Question(s): • Why do you want to work for AMPed Hybrid Academy?
