AMPed Hybrid Academy is seeking a full-time Lower Elementary Teacher (K–2) or Upper Elementary Teacher (3-5) to join our team effective immediately. This role is ideal for an experienced, flexible educator who thrives in small class settings and is confident differentiating instruction within a mixed-age elementary cohort. AMPed Hybrid Academy is a private, project-based, hybrid learning environment serving students in small cohorts. Our teachers have meaningful autonomy, strong family partnerships, and the ability to truly know their students. Responsibilities • Teach students in a Lower Elementary (K–2) or Upper Elementary (3-5) mixed-age cohort • Plan and deliver instruction differentiated by age, readiness, and learning needs • Facilitate whole-group, small-group, and individualized instruction • Use formative assessment to guide instruction and flexible grouping • Integrate core subjects through project-based and interdisciplinary learning • Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and student support Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in Education or teaching certificate • Elementary teaching experience • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills Preferred • Experience teaching in mixed-age classrooms • Familiarity with project-based, inquiry-based, or student-centered instruction • Comfort working in a small-school or alternative education setting Ideal Candidate • Confident teaching elementary students across multiple grades • Flexible, calm, and solution-oriented • Collaborative and reflective in practice • Comfortable stepping into an established classroom mid-year • Values strong relationships with students and families
