The Director of Content Strategy will play a critical leadership role at AMPED, overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of content strategies across our diverse client base. You will be responsible for aligning content and design initiatives with business goals, ensuring brand messaging and presentation consistency, and driving engagement across digital and print platforms. This role requires a balance of creative vision, management, strategic thinking, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy • Develop and lead comprehensive content strategies for B2B and B2C clients, aligning with their business objectives and marketing goals. • Lead content strategy on high-profile accounts, offering guidance and thought leadership to teams and clients. • Collaborate with client services, content, design, digital marketing, and events teams to integrate content strategy into client campaigns and projects. Content Development & Optimization • Write and oversee the creation of compelling, well-written content across multiple formats, including webpages, social media, video, podcasts, and more. • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, user experience, and conversion. • Implement best practices for content governance to ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all client deliverables. • Develop content distribution strategies across paid, owned, and earned media. Leadership & Collaboration • Lead, coach, and develop the Creative Director and Director of Copywriting • Create a collaborative environment that encourages innovative ideas and continuous improvement • Maintain high levels of accountability in quality, performance, and departmental KPIs. • Work closely with the design, copywriting, and digital marketing teams to ensure cohesive and integrated content execution. Client Engagement • Serve as the primary content strategy expert in client discovery and strategy meetings, providing insights and recommendations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their content strategies are aligned with their business goals and KPIs. • Present content strategy concepts and performance reports to senior client stakeholders. Performance & Analytics • Monitor and report on content performance, utilizing analytics to refine and optimize content strategies for better engagement and ROI. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitive insights to ensure that client strategies remain cutting-edge. • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to expand content reach and effectiveness.
