The Associate Project Manager provides support to Project Managers in coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This role performs administrative and operational tasks to ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and within scope. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, preparing reports, maintaining records, and assisting with resource and budget tracking. The Associate Project Manager interacts with cross-functional teams to promote communication, identify issues, and facilitate implementation of project schedules and deliverables. This is a developmental role designed to build project management skills and prepare for more independent responsibilities within the Program Management career path. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assists Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones and deliverables under close supervision. * Coordinates meetings, tracks action items, and ensures timely follow-up on deliverables. * Supports data collection and status reporting to maintain visibility of project progress. * Prepares presentation materials and documentation to support customer or internal project reviews. * Assists with proposal and documentation preparation as directed. * Monitors project activities and promptly communicates schedule or documentation concerns to the Project Manager. * Collaborates across departments to maintain clear communication channels and accurate project documentation. * Assists with coordination of cross-functional communication and project documentation management. * Supports communication logistics and helps document stakeholder updates. * Maintains risk and issue logs and assists with follow-up and documentation. * Learns company and regulatory requirements applicable to assigned projects. * Focuses primarily on supporting project execution and documentation rather than leading full project scope. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * 0-2 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related discipline preferred but not required. * Exposure to pharmaceutical or related industry experience preferred. * Requires progressively responsible project coordination experience with exposure to technical or regulated environments. * Understanding of customer expectations, project lifecycle management, and operational processes. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS * Excellent organization and attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication abilities. * Ability to support cross-functional activities and maintain project documentation. * Foundational understanding of project management tools and concepts. * Ability to learn and apply analytical and organizational skills * Team-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and development.
