AIUSA’s Marketing and Communications team develops and executes creative and compelling communications strategies that leverage and build on the Amnesty brand, mobilize members and supporters, and add to the public discourse to protect and advance human rights. The Director, Creative and Digital Communications (“Director”) is the creative strategist who leads the planning, development, and implementation of Amnesty International USA's creative content, branding, website, and social media strategy. This is a leadership position on the AIUSA’s Marketing & Communications team and reports to the National Director of Marketing and Communications. The Director will collaborate with and supervise AIUSA’s social media, creative multimedia content, and web content staff, and oversee related work provided by freelance and external agencies to develop and implement a creative and impactful digital marketing and communications strategy. This Director will be a hands-on contributor, developing new creative content and providing support for web and social media content creation and publication. This position also works closely, and collaborates, with: • The entire Marketing and Communications team ensures external-facing communications are aligned across AIUSA’s marketing and communications channels and across the organization; • AIUSA’s digital fundraising and advocacy team, which sits with AIUSA’s Development Department. This Director will coordinate strategies, content, and calendars with that team; • Issue experts, campaigners, organizers, members, and leaders across Amnesty International USA and Amnesty's international movement.
