Lead and support the Nexsure insurance agency management system including system administration, user support, training, vendor management, and reporting.

Job Title: Application Support Lead Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Application Support Lead to oversee and support our insurance agency management system, with a strong emphasis on Nexsure. This role requires a self-starter with deep industry knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage priorities and communicate effectively across teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities: System Administration & Configuration · Serve as the SME for the Nexsure application, including configuration and optimization. · Manage user access, perform password resets, and troubleshoot login and performance issues. · Handle client merges and manage download exceptions within the application. · Coordinate carrier setup and downloads via IVANS. Support & Coordination · Lead support ticket assignment and monitor team capacity and performance metrics. · Provide user support and training across departments. · Act as the IT face to the business, ensuring high-quality customer service. · Participate in discovery sessions and vendor discussions regarding Nexsure errors, performance, and reporting issues. Insurance Operations Knowledge · Apply knowledge of insurance accounting and invoicing to support business processes. · Assist with policy servicing and assignment management. Documentation & Reporting · Create and manage documentation for processes, training, and system updates. · Generate and analyze metrics reports for resource allocation and performance tracking. Training & Vendor Management · Conduct training sessions for users and support staff. · Liaise with vendors for issue resolution and system enhancements. Other Duties · Support various business and IT requests as directed by management. Continuously self-train and stay updated on system capabilities and industry best practices. Qualifications: · Prior experience as a system administrator for a broker or insurance agency management system (Nexsure preferred). · Strong insurance background (Broker preferred). · Familiarity with insurance accounting and invoicing processes. · Excellent organizational and communication skills. · Ability to prioritize issues and work independently. · Experience in coordinating support teams and reporting on capacity and metrics.
