the job: amika is seeking an energetic, highly organized, and curious Associate Manager, Professional Marketing to support the execution of key programs across our fast-growing Pro channel. This role is essential in ensuring the Pro Marketing team operates smoothly — coordinating projects, updating platforms, managing assets, and partnering across teams to keep all initiatives moving forward with clarity and precision. Reporting into the Director of Professional Marketing and working closely with the Senior Manager, this person will collaborate with Sales, Education, Creative, Social, Influencer, and Product Marketing to support in-salon programs, stylist content needs, pro community engagement, and distributor initiatives. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is excited to learn the professional beauty landscape, and wants to grow into a future leader in Pro Marketing. salary: $90,000 - $100,000 location: hybrid (must be based in + have the right to work in the US) what you'll do: Support Professional Marketing Program Execution Assist in the execution of Pro Marketing programs including in-salon initiatives, sampling, loyalty updates, and Pro website maintenance. Manage recurring tasks such as calendar updates, toolkit refreshing, content organization, and daily operational needs. Project Coordination & Cross-Functional Support Coordinate with Creative, Social, Influencer, Education, Sales, Brand, and Product Marketing to keep projects aligned and on track. Prepare briefs, consolidate feedback, route assets for review, and ensure project timelines remain accurate and up to date. Content, Assets & Professional Tools Support the creation of stylist-facing content by organizing assets, tracking deliverables, and clearly communicating needs to Creative and other teams. Help maintain professional-facing materials including program trackers, launch documents, education support needs, and stylist content libraries. Operational Excellence Manage administrative workflows including PO requests, invoicing, asset filing, and program documentation. Own accuracy across loyalty and Pro website platforms by maintaining updated product information, imagery, promotions, and professional tools. Reporting & Insights Monitor engagement and program performance; support reporting by pulling metrics and compiling insights for the Senior Manager and Director. Maintain trackers, dashboards, and program summaries to support ongoing performance optimization. Collaboration & Team Support Regularly partner with field sales and education teams to understand stylist needs and ensure programs are communicated clearly. Act as a proactive, highly collaborative partner who brings structure, communication, and clarity to all cross-functional interactions. must haves: 2–4 years of experience in marketing, professional beauty, haircare, or a related field. Strong organization, time management, and project coordination skills — able to keep multiple workflows moving smoothly. An enthusiastic, curious, and proactive mindset; eager to learn, try new things, and grow within the Pro beauty space. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style; thrives in team environments. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and consistency across platforms and deliverables. Comfort working cross-functionally with creative, education, sales, and operations teams. Experience with stylists, educators, or distributor partners is a plus.
