Job Description: • Oversee the operations and management of Procurement’s Raw Materials, Devices and Distribution Strategic Sourcing team at Amgen • Develop and execute the procurement sourcing strategies to address business needs • Lead Global Procurement’s Strategic Sourcing team for Raw Materials, Devices and Distribution • Drive continuous improvement through sourcing initiatives • Be a trusted advisor to Operations • Develop team capabilities and cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusion • Curate supplier partnerships while deepening Sourcing team’s knowledge of external supplier capabilities • Identify and mitigate supply risk while ensuring Sourcing deliverables adhere to regulatory requirements • Monitor and report on Strategic Sourcing performance metrics • Evaluate and implement through Sourcing, process improvement, environmental sustainability & supplier diversity and automation initiatives Requirements: • Doctorate degree and 3 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations (preferably in a regulated industry) experience • Master’s degree and 7 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations (preferably in a regulated industry) experience • Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations (preferably in a regulated industry) experience • Associate’s degree and 12 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations (preferably in a regulated industry) experience • High school diploma / GED and 14 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations (preferably in a regulated industry) experience • Minimum of 3 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources.
