Doctorate or advanced degree with 2+ years relevant precision medicine experience, pharma or consulting background, project management skills, financial oversight, and leadership in a matrix environment.
Description: • Work closely with the Discovery Biomarkers Team and Research Precision Medicine Lead (R-PML) to advance development and execution of Precision Medicine plans • Serve as steward of a cross-functional team to develop and implement translational and precision medicine strategies across the product lifecycle • Partner with cross functional senior collaborators and teams across Research to guide development of translational, reverse translational, and precision medicine strategies • Serve as the main collaborator of the Research PMed Teams (R-PMTs) supporting strategic planning and monitoring execution of integrated PMed Plans • Lead research collaborations and reverse translational initiatives with internal and external collaborators • Develop the rPMED budget for each program and monitor team expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals • Create and maintain execution timelines to track progress and identify deviations from approved plan • Lead PMed team meetings, define agendas, record minutes, and ensure outcomes are reflected in timelines and budgets • Raise risks/issues to Head of Precision Medicine PMO and develop mitigation strategies • Apply program management standard processes across planning, initiation, execution, QA/QC, and closing of projects • Support content creation for cross-functional meetings (technical reviews, Portal Reviews, Governances) • Serve as an integrator to Research Product Teams ensuring connectivity with research leadership, early clinical and platform functions • Drive risk management, communication plans, critical path analysis, and ensure on-time delivery and adherence to plan • Maintain meeting effectiveness, MS Teams/Smartsheet maintenance, and timely escalation of issues to Head of Discovery Biomarkers and PMO Requirements: • Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant precision medicine experience OR Master’s degree and 4 years OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years OR Associate’s degree and 10 years OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of relevant precision medicine experience • PhD and/or Master’s degree (preferred) • Technical / scientific background with 6+ years industry and/or academic experience • Prior pharma / consulting and/or drug development experience, specifically in research & clinical development • Program and project management skills with experience in a healthcare-related environment • Operationalizing central initiatives, including cross-functional strategic planning, development of integrated plans, monitoring and driving execution to plan • Emotional intelligence skills including influencing without authority and navigating within a matrix environment • Experience using Project Management and AI/ML tools, methodologies, practices and infrastructure, as related to the Biopharmaceutical Industry • Highly experienced on MS Suite tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and project management software such as Smartsheet, Planisware, SharePoint, etc. • Finance and budget management experience • Business process and systems management • Project planning and management (PMP preferred) • Knowledge of SOPs, good clinical practices and regulatory requirements • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate others in a complex, multi-functional matrix environment • Exceptional leadership and team management skills Benefits: • A comprehensive employee benefits package, including a Retirement and Savings Plan with generous company contributions • Group medical, dental and vision coverage • Life and disability insurance • Flexible spending accounts • A discretionary annual bonus program • Stock-based long-term incentives • Award-winning time-off plans • Flexible work models, including remote and hybrid work arrangements, where possible • Work/life balance and career development opportunities
