POSITION: A company in Houston is looking to add a skilled individual for their Operations Helper role. As an Operations Helper, you will assist with warehouse duties related to the storage, organization, and shipment of equipment and tools. You will be integral to ensure that all operations run smoothly, and that equipment is handled safely and efficiently along with occasional cleaning of the facility. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with the unloading, sorting, and organizing of goods, products, or equipment. • Move items around the warehouse or production area using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts • Maintain a clean, orderly work environment by sweeping floors, organizing materials, and taking out trash as needed. • Help prepare products for shipment by packing, labeling, and sealing boxes or containers. • Help with filing and maintaining records, such as inventory logs, shipping receipts, or maintenance reports. • Vehicle maintenance (cleaning vehicles, taking cars for maintenance at dealerships, and maintaining the related records) REQUIREMENTS: • Must have a valid Driver’s License • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. • Previous warehouse or general operations experience is a plus. • Forklift experience or willingness to learn is a plus. • Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
