Position Summary The Sr. Solutions Architect Lead will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions that align with AmeriLife’s strategic goals. In addition to serving as a key technical contributor, this role will be responsible for managing a team of employee solution architects, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight. The Director will define architectural standards, guide stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems across the organization. Job Description Key Responsibilities Architectural Leadership Lead the design and architecture of complex IT solutions across multiple platforms and business domains. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance processes. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to support innovation and efficiency. Oversee solution integration, data flow, and system interoperability across AmeriLife’s technology ecosystem. Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements. Partner with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to support deployment and operational readiness. Drive continuous improvement in solution delivery and architecture maturity. Team Management Lead and manage a team of employee solution architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. Set clear goals and expectations, conduct performance reviews, and support career growth. Align team capacity and skills with project demands and strategic initiatives. Promote knowledge sharing and architectural consistency across projects and teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in solutions architecture or technical leadership role. 3+ years of experience managing technical teams or direct reports. Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), microservices, APIs, and modern development frameworks. Experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, Portals, and data platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
