Manage inbound and outbound goods, ensure accurate inventory and documentation, and maintain warehouse organization.
High school diploma or equivalent, 5 years of warehousing or material handling experience, forklift certification, proficiency in basic computer skills.
Own the flow of goods from dock to stock Join our Receiving team and help orchestrate accurate, safe, and timely handling of inbound materials—while stepping into Shipping to assist during peaks and as backup. Your work keeps Production supplied and customers delighted. Why this role matters • Ensure compliant unloading and verification of all inbound freight per ISO procedures and safety policies. • Protect data integrity by matching lots and weights to Bills of Lading and purchase orders, documenting any damage. • Maintain a reliable receiving log for small packages, route items to the right stakeholders, and forward packing slips to the Purchasing Agent. • Support quality by preparing and delivering lab samples for incoming material inspections. • Capture receipts in the appropriate database, generate labels, and tag inventory correctly. • Complete daily put-away to designated warehouse locations; uphold controls in the inventory quarantine area. • Return unused production materials to original locations after weighing and documenting. • Collect, weigh, and record scrap Gaylords with precision. • Execute cycle counts and keep inventory records accurate; communicate exceptions to leadership right away. • Housekeeping champion: keep the warehouse organized, repair/repack items, and relocate damaged inventory promptly. • Support outbound operations during overflow to keep shipments on schedule. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. • 5 years of experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or material handling; similar industry background preferred. • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency; accurate data entry; forklift experience.
