Position Description: The Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving the organization's indirect sourcing and procurement strategy. This position focuses on executing sourcing projects and tactical procurement activities to achieve cost savings targets. The role analyzes spend data, collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, executes eSourcing events, and manages contracts related to indirect spend. Key Responsibilities Analyze information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and internal stakeholders to develop detailed requirements and bid specifications. Collaborate closely with leader to define optimal category strategies and targets, ensuring alignment with current and future business needs. Conduct post-event analyses and provide insights such as price/cost analysis and service level performance. Coordinate with legal counsel to ensure contract terms are aligned with organizational objectives and executed appropriately. Define appropriate metrics and reporting requirements in collaboration with leadership team. Develop and implement category plans aligned with business objectives and market opportunities, ensuring strategic alignment with overall category strategy. Drive sourcing best practices and standardization of procurement processes to minimize supply risks and enhance efficiency. Identify and lead large-scale business opportunities and improvement initiatives that maximize profitability. Implement contract compliance measures and review supplier performance against contracted obligations and service levels. Influence strategic sourcing decisions by providing market insights and developing innovative supplier strategies. Manage all aspects of sourcing processes including tactical opportunities, strategic eRFx’s, and eAuctions. Work closely with functional and business groups to support customer satisfaction through effective implementation and feedback initiatives.
