Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting/Administrative manager to join our growing and dynamic team. American Pool of Houston is a full-service commercial aquatic operation that manages, services, and provides repairs to accounts throughout the Houston area. We are a division of The Amenity Collective Commercial Aquatics, the largest commercial aquatics management organization nationwide! Our team is growing and we are looking for talented individuals who would like to expand their skills and rise within our organization. In this role, you will manage our accounts receivable/payable process, while ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our office! We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, thriving on organization and multitasking. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance (AR/AP) · Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including preparing customer invoices, posting payments, and recording deposits. · Monitor accounts receivable, proactively contact clients regarding overdue payments. · Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism. · Process vendor invoices for payment, set up new vendors with all required documentation, and reconcile vendor statements. · Assists in monthly financial closings Office Administration & Support · Oversee daily office operations, maintaining a professional and organized environment. · Manage office supplies, common areas, and coordinate staff equipment needs (computers, phones). · Provide administrative support to the team, including expense reporting and maintaining internal contact lists. · Embrace a hands-on, team-oriented approach to a variety of tasks that ensure our operational success. Qualifications & Skills: · Experience in an accounting-focused role, such as an Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist, Bookkeeper, or similar. · Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. · Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
