Minimum five years in healthcare or related performance improvement, system implementation experience, supervisory skills, and knowledge of medical coding and financial implications.
Location: Remote Position Pay Range: $52,395.20 - $92,164.80 Position Summary Responsible to oversee the daily activities of the medical collections claims resolution teams. Liaison with practice and business office staff to resolve issues and outstanding problems in the area of AR management and Revenue Cycle processes. Reviews metrics to identify trends or areas of focus and work to develop, document, and implement action plans to address issues on outstanding AR. Provides guidance and training to assigned staff members and assure that policy and procedures are adhered to as outlined in the business office and employee manuals. Supports the financial goals of the company by being fiscally responsible in all areas, including staffing, and purchasing. Develops and implements practice-specific process improvement recommendations to secure positive results. Develops and reaches consensus with practice leadership concerning identified problem areas and pursuing recommended solutions. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in business health care administration, finance or related field preferred. Previous Experience A minimum of five years in healthcare, performance improvement or healthcare business operations preferred. Must have proven ability in the technical aspects of systems implementation, operation, and support Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Ability to make presentation to senior leadership, develop financial analyses and provide strategic direction. Strong management, organization, prioritizing, multi-tasking, leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential, as is knowledge of professional medical coding and how it will have financial implications. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work. Previous supervisory experience required.
