Job Title: Scrum Master II (Annuities Agile Train) **In consideration of candidate qualifications, another job level may be evaluated (Scrum Master I) Position Will Report To: Assistant Vice President, Scrum Delivery Practice at the Galveston Texas office Onsite Placement: Galveston or League City, Texas (Monday-Friday / 8:00 am-4:30 pm) Full-Time, Exempt Are you enthusiastic about Agile methodologies and ready to lead a dynamic team? Join us as a Scrum Master for the Annuities Agile Release Train and serve in a pivotal role that drives our projects to success! What You’ll Do • Lead cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum principles • Facilitate daily standups, backlog refinements, iteration planning, iteration reviews, and retrospectives • Identify and remove impediments to ensure team success • Represent the team in broader planning sessions • Support the team with Agile tools like Azure DevOps Qualifications • Relevant bachelor's degree or applicable work experience and certifications considered in lieu of degree • Experience with IT solution delivery is beneficial • Annuity knowledge, beneficial • A-CSM or PSM II, and SAFe SM certification qualification or ability to obtain within the first six months of employment • Applied understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, frameworks, and techniques • Proven record for successfully leading midsize to large efforts with high degree of complexity • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as complex critical thinking skills • Able to contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization • Support the team in using agile planning and development tools (Azure DevOps) • Represent the team at broader planning and coordination sessions (e.g., Scrum of Scrums) • Anticipate client needs and develop potential solutions; adapt quickly to business changes
