Purpose: Manage and develop designated territory of assigned accounts as the primary contact point to build and enhance the relationship with a focus on identification of opportunities for profitable growth of new and existing business. Roles & Responsibilities: • Management of key accounts with estimated travel of 25-50% of time. Travel requirements are not weekly and will vary depending on regional activities, client demands, conference schedule, etc. The company reserves the right to change estimated travel time based on business need. • Delivers and manages growth and profitability targets for assigned accounts. • Develops sales plans including new account development, retention, and marketing strategy through analysis of current and future market trends. • Participates in regional and cross-regional sales and training initiatives to support performance for the overall sales team. • Performs regular profitability reviews for assigned accounts and recommends corrective actions. • Identifies decision-makers and key associate within an account and develops productive relationships. • Identified as an expert by customers in regard to product placement and market knowledge for assigned accounts. • Gathers and assesses market and competitor intelligence to identify trends and opportunities. • Identifies and delivers on compliance corrective actions. • Collaborates with Sales Account Support personnel to achieve in-house support needed to meet customer expectations. • Collaborates with Product Department on the development of assigned territory rate and rule changes. • Represents American Modern at insurance conventions and trade shows. • Participates in training sessions with accounts and follows up with activation activities – includes Product, Legacy, AMsuite, etc. • Must reside within the designated Georgia/Alabama territory, with a preference for candidates who have existing knowledge of the local market and are embedded in the community, to effectively manage and grow relationships with customers and partners in the region.. Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of MS Office Suite applications, Live Meeting, etc. and stays current on technological advancements. Ability to effectively utilize CRM.
