Pay Rate: $19.00 – $25.00/hr. plus commission Location: REMOTE Position Overview Lawn Matters is seeking an experienced Customer Outreach Specialist (Call Center) to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. As an essential member of our outreach team, the Customer Outreach Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for both prospective and existing customers. This role requires high‑volume outbound calling, strong communication skills, and comfort working within a KPI‑driven environment. The ideal candidate is customer‑focused, accountable, and confident using advanced call center and CRM systems. What Makes a Customer Outreach Specialist Successful at Lawn Matters • Outbound Sales Focus: Demonstrated ability to perform high‑volume outbound prospecting calls that support new business, renewals, and service growth. • KPI‑Driven Mindset: Comfortable working toward daily goals such as outbound call volume, talk time, follow‑up completion, and documentation accuracy. • Technology & Systems Expertise: Skilled with dialers, CRM systems, and advanced phone software. • Customer Communication Strength: Able to maintain professionalism while handling sales conversations, service inquiries, and A/R account support. Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting & Sales Support • Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to prospective and existing customers. • Drive new customer acquisition, service renewals, and retention efforts. • Meet or exceed KPIs including call volume, talk time, and follow‑up activity. Inbound Customer & Account Support • Respond to inbound inquiries regarding services, pricing, scheduling, and account information. • Provide professional, friendly, and accurate support. Account Support & Accounts Receivable Follow‑Up • Place outbound calls regarding outstanding balances, payment reminders, and billing questions. • Communicate payment expectations clearly while maintaining positive interactions. • Document outcomes accurately and escalate issues when needed. Scheduling & Service Coordination • Schedule, update, and coordinate service appointments with branch operations. • Ensure customers understand service timelines and expectations. Documentation & Systems Management • Maintain accurate records of all interactions within CRM and call center platforms. • Manage follow‑ups, customer history, and performance metrics. Qualifications for the Customer Outreach Specialist • High school diploma or equivalent • Recent high‑volume outbound sales experience required (cold calling preferred) • Comfortable in a structured, KPI‑driven environment • Experience in home services (HVAC, pest, solar, roofing, etc.) preferred • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Key Performance Metrics The Customer Outreach Specialist Will Be Evaluated On • Daily outbound call volume and talk time • Follow‑up completion and documentation accuracy • Customer satisfaction and retention • Contribution to new business, renewals, and service extensions • Adherence to call center KPIs and quality standards Work Environment & Location • Remote work environment (office‑based during training/onboarding if applicable) • Frequent phone and computer use throughout the day • Monday–Friday schedule, with some flexibility based on business needs
