Responsibilities • Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their needs, and assist them in selecting jewelry and coins that match their preferences. • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of jewelry pieces and collectible coins. • Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts. • Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue. • Maintain attractive merchandising displays, restock shelves, and organize stock to ensure a visually appealing shopping environment. • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions clearly, offering expert advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. • Follow phone etiquette standards when handling inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring professionalism at all times. Skills • Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail setting. • Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to assist team members when needed. • Ability to perform product demos confidently while highlighting key features of jewelry and coins. • Bilingual skills are highly valued for effective communication with diverse customer bases. • Strong phone etiquette skills for professional customer interactions over the phone or online inquiries. • Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without compromising customer satisfaction. • Knowledge of merchandising principles, stock management, and store organization best practices. • Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as totals, discounts, and change handling. • Excellent communication skills combined with friendly demeanor to foster positive customer relationships. • Experience in grocery store or similar retail environments is advantageous but not required.
