AAOMS JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: Marketing Communications Associate STATUS: Exempt REPORTS TO: Integrated Marketing Director POSITION OVERVIEW AAOMS is seeking a highly motivated marketing and communications professional to provide project management and strategic support to manage the day-to-day activities of the Associations member-focused marketing initiatives as well as its public-facing award-winning branding campaign. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer who is highly organized, detail-oriented and experienced in managing timelines, producing effective marketing materials and collaborating with teams across an organization to ensure a consistent and professional voice in all marketing projects. The Marketing Communications Associate will work to develop, guide and manage marketing plans and programs in support of the Associations key priorities and have responsibility for coordination, content creation and execution of marketing projects. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage marketing campaigns for the Associations programs and events, including the writing of copy for marketing collateral (emails, magazine, social media) and video creation when appropriate. Support the AAOMS Informational Campaigns by executing assigned tactics. Track marketing metrics, report on campaign performance and suggest improvements. Coordinate the creation of walk-in slide decks for meetings, collecting content and ensuring visual consistency. Maintain production calendars and project schedules for marketing initiatives. Contribute to social media and digital content as needed. Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned by Integrated Marketing Director.
