Ameresco has a new opportunity based remotely in Northern Ohio for a Construction Project Manager. This position will support our West Construction Operations team in support of the final design, construction, and successful implementation of energy efficiency projects. Responsibilities: Provide daily construction, administrative and technical management of renewable construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, government and commercial customers. Assist management as required with project accounting, budgeting, project schedule and tracking, reporting quality management and internal communications. Ensure compliance with Company’s financial policies and procedures to include revenue recognition policies and project set up rules. Serve and assist as a liaison between the business office and operations. Direct interface with Ameresco customers managing customer service, relationships and contractual obligations. Assist the Engineering and Development team and the in-project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, cost estimation, installation and project scheduling. Regularly monitor assigned project performance and cost estimates to forecast estimates through to project completion for reasonableness against plans and actual expense rate. Review subcontractor and vendor bids solicited by the team to help determine scope, schedule, timely delivery for all project related materials, equipment and construction services. Managing vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control, project delivery on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Directly manage construction managers (site supervisors) as assigned to ensure quality control, project delivery on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Maintain and update project schedules to reflect current information, monitor critical path activities and tracking of outstanding items. Provide a detailed two-week look schedule to facilitate customer coordination and planning. Managing project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, monthly forecasting and tracking. Ensure compliance with company, industry, customer and jurisdictional safety standards, practices and codes. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical field; or the equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in industrial power, electrical, mechanical, or engineering construction project management focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, and energy services. Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with the following energy efficiency disciplines - direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements is preferred. Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships. Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project. Procore experience is desirable. Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $101,500 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role. Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
