Ameresco is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to support the successful execution of multi-million-dollar energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day construction, administrative, and technical activities across assigned projects. Support budgeting, scheduling, cost tracking, and quality assurance. Maintain and update project schedules, monitor critical path activities, and provide 2-week look-ahead plans for customer coordination. Serve as a primary liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Assist in subcontractor selection, bid analysis, and scope alignment. Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and quality standards. Prepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, reports, presentations, and compliance records. Assist with client reporting, financial documentation, and monthly forecasting. Ensure adherence to company financial policies, including revenue recognition and project setup protocols. Collaborate with Engineering and Development teams on project scope, design validation, and installation planning. Conduct research and analysis on project specifications, drawings, and contract documents. Ensure compliance with Ameresco, industry, and jurisdictional safety standards and codes. Support QA/QC efforts and maintain certifications as required. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management. Ability to review confidential US security information. Additional Qualifications: Experience with institutional, government, and industrial retrofit projects. Familiarity with energy efficiency technologies such as DDC systems, VFDs, high-efficiency motors, central plant upgrades, and lighting retrofits. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word) and PM software (e.g., Procore). QA/QC Certification (ACOE or NAVFAC), OSHA 30, CPR/Bloodborne Pathogens Certification. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
