Job purpose The primary purpose of an Account Manager is to act as the key liaison between the company and its clients, ensuring strong, long-lasting relationships while driving sales and revenue growth. This role focuses on managing client accounts, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that align with their goals and the company’s offerings. In addition to maintaining client satisfaction, the Account Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing upselling and cross-selling opportunities, developing strategic account plans, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. By building trust and rapport, the Account Manager ensures client retention and actively contributes to the company’s overall sales objectives and market growth. Duties and responsibilities · Consistently exemplifies Ambler Industries’ core values through foresight in planning, integrity in all interactions, collaborative teamwork, and excellence in performance and results. · Build strong relationships with new and existing clients by placing the client first. · Facilitate new and existing client account hand-off from the sales department to the operations department. · Collaborate with Sales, Admin, and Operations to deliver an exceptional client experience. · Look continually for ways to exceed customer expectations while saving time and costs for the company. · Respond to incoming sales leads in a professional manner within 24 hours. · Follow Sales Process to prepare, present, close, and hand off sales opportunities- start to finish. · Makes sales calls to qualify and quantify customer opportunities and drives sales process from solution introduction through product qualification, field trial, proposal and closure of the sale. · Coordinates company resources to meet customers’ needs and advance the sales process. · Work with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands. · Document all prospecting and sales activities in Company software program Aspire. · Participate in Weekly team meetings to discuss past week’s activity and future activity plans. · Participate in networking and sales events, sales training and educational events, and other Company sponsored events/activities. · Assist the Finance Team with questions and solutions regarding client invoices and payments. · Resolve client complaints in a timely manner through use of Sales processes and resources. · Identify new up-selling opportunities within existing accounts. · During the peak season, from March 15th to July 1st, employees must be available to answer phone calls and respond to messages via phone or email between 7 AM and 7 PM · Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications · Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to be added onto the company insurance policy. · Education- Minimum HS diploma required, Bachelor of Science degree in business preferred. · Experience- Three years Sales and/or Account Management required. Priority given to those with in Commercial Landscape and Snow Removal experience. · Excellent verbal written and communication skills. · Excellent problem-solving skills to help resolve client complaints or needs. · Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal skills for dealing with diverse types of clients. · Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail. · Time management and multitasking skills. · Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing client data. · Must possess strong computer skills and be proficient in utilizing various web platforms and software applications including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Salary - $65,000 - $70,000 base plus commission
