The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to assigned business groups, providing comprehensive human resources leadership aligned with organizational goals. This role partners closely with senior leaders and managers to design and deliver people strategies that support growth, performance, engagement, and operational effectiveness. The position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution across core HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership & Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and change initiatives. Translate business objectives into practical, value-driven HR strategies and programs. Provide guidance on organizational design, restructuring, and talent assessment to support evolving business needs. Collaborate with leadership teams to strengthen culture, engagement, and accountability. Human Resources Operations Deliver employee relations support, including coaching managers, addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and recommending appropriate actions in alignment with company policies and employment law. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and promote best practices across the organization. Partner with talent acquisition teams and hiring managers to attract and retain high-quality talent. Support performance management processes, promotions, workforce transitions, and other employee lifecycle activities. Organizational Development & Change Partner with organizational development resources to design and implement career development, succession planning, and leadership tools. Support large-scale initiatives such as reorganizations, role redesign, and workforce optimization, including communication planning and execution. Contribute to companywide programs such as merit review cycles, incentive planning, and performance calibration. Collaboration & Governance Act as a liaison to internal HR functions, including compensation, benefits, learning and development, and compliance. Stay informed on emerging HR trends, employment legislation, and best practices relevant to complex organizations. Participate in cross-functional committees or leadership forums as needed. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational priorities. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field required Master’s degree preferred Experience Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role Demonstrated experience supporting organizational development initiatives within a complex or multi-functional environment Experience working with represented employee populations and collective bargaining agreements required Prior experience in highly regulated or large-scale organizations strongly preferred Certifications SPHR or equivalent professional certification preferred Knowledge & Skills Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and core HR functions Proven ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels of the organization Excellent organizational, project management, and change management capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical, business-oriented solutions Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience analyzing and presenting complex data Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver formal presentations to diverse audiences
