Description Employer: Amazon Data Services, Inc. Position: Tech Infra Program Manager III (Multiple Positions Available) Location: Seattle, WA Multiple Positions Available: 1. Responsible for strategic scaling of data center capacity. 2. Identify capacity-related issues proactively and work with services, network, and engineering teams to discover resolutions. 3. Develop expansion plans for existing and new products. 4. Develop tooling and automation to simplify the process for expansions. 5. Work with stakeholders (software/tool development teams/operations leadership/networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes. 6. Continuously improve speed and performance for infrastructure deployments. 7. Manage communications and documentation around in-flight expansions. 8. Ensure capacity constraints and assumptions are identified, tracked and communicated. 9. Analyze how hardware architecture and product changes impact capacity and provide feedback to teams and upper level management. 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $150,550 - $201,200 (yr). In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related disciple, followed by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in job offered or in occupations related to managing complex technology or infrastructure related projects. Must have experience with each of the following: 1. 1 year of experience with engineering, or infrastructure capacity planning. 2. 1 year of experience with project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management. 3. 1 year of experience with Tableau, Redshift, or other BI management and visualization tools. The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $150,550 - $201,200 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
