Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. Export Control Requirement This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing the network development strategy for Leo’s Global Enterprise network across manufacturing facilities, research labs, launch sites, and mission operations centers. This is a high-visibility role where you will drive operational excellence across our rapidly expanding enterprise infrastructure—serving as the critical link between innovative technology initiatives and flawless execution. Key job responsibilities - Drive end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex network infrastructure programs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, technical requirements, and business timelines - Serve as the central point of coordination between network engineering, security, operations, facilities, and external vendors to define requirements, resolve dependencies, and ensure seamless collaboration across all phases of network development projects. - Proactively identify technical and operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement governance frameworks that ensure network programs are delivered on time and in compliance with security, reliability, and performance standards. - Establish and maintain program metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into project health and delivery milestones - leveraging data-driven insights to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement across the networking portfolio. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 3+ years of software development experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
