Amazon Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Governance & External Affairs (GEA) is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead the Advanced Learning Response Team (ALRT) and support New & Emerging Regulations (NER) compliance initiatives under the Environmental, Health & Safety umbrella. The ALRT deploys to investigate serious workplace incidents, bringing together cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to conduct thorough, independent investigations. As the Sr. PM, you will provide end-to-end leadership of these critical investigations, ensuring timely response, comprehensive analysis, and actionable recommendations that prevent future incidents. In addition to ALRT management, you will serve as a PM lead for evaluating New & Emerging Regulations. This includes assessing regulatory impacts, developing field execution plans, and ensuring timely compliance across Amazon's operations. You will coordinate with stakeholders across multiple organizations to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable implementation strategies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities, proven program management expertise, and a track record of driving continuous improvement. You should possess deep knowledge of incident investigation methodologies and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously. Experience navigating regulatory environments and translating compliance requirements into operational plans is essential. Key job responsibilities • Lead Cross-Functional Incident Investigation Teams: Deploy and coordinate ALRT investigations within established internal service level agreements, ensuring standardized methodologies produce actionable root cause analyses and corrective action plans for senior leadership. • Develop and Maintain Regulatory Compliance Framework: Establish systematic processes for monitoring, evaluating, and responding to New & Emerging Regulations across all jurisdictions, creating risk assessments and scalable compliance roadmaps. • Build and Scale ALRT Capabilities: Recruit, train, and certify a network of incident investigators while developing standardized investigation tools, templates, and performance metrics. • Stakeholder Management and Executive Communication: Serve as primary liaison between WHS leadership, site operations, legal teams, and regulatory agencies, preparing executive briefings and managing sensitive communications during critical incidents. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
