Full Description

Worldwide Grocery Stores, Distribution Strategy and Transportation team is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical with a proven track record of delivery and strong project management expertise. In this role, you'll own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology initiatives for the Grocery DC Product team, driving innovation across our fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of under-the-roof fulfillment operations, including inventory flows and fulfillment technologies such as receive, stow, replenishment, and pick processes. You'll serve as a critical liaison between technical teams and senior leadership, scoping large-scale projects while clearly communicating status updates, risk assessments, and process or product changes to executive stakeholders. Success in this position requires cross-functional team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills. Key job responsibilities - Define a vision and strategic framework for under-the-roof DC operations, including “working backwards” documents on products and features. - Explore and implement technology-driven solutions that optimize cost structures, minimize overhead expenses, and strengthen stakeholder engagement. - Gather and analyze data across business functions to establish global standards for product distribution. - Manage cross-functional project teams, plan, organize, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes. - Innovate to enhance customer experience and reduce distribution network costs. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
