This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. AWS is looking for a Solutions Architect to identify and validate technical best practices for AWS ISV Partners. You will analyze the most common issues faced by ISVs, define patterns for addressing these, and build automated mechanisms for assessing ISV products and helping our Partners improve. This is a highly technical role that requires the ability to understand complex cloud architectures and build generalized solutions You will work across a broad range of AWS services and help identify and solve high impact challenges for software vendors. Key job responsibilities Your primary responsibility will be to create resources that help AWS Partners assess their solutions and meet the exacting standards of our various Partner validation programs. You will be directly responsible for working with other subject matter experts across AWS to define these standards and our assessment methodology. You will also work closely with our engineering teams to implement AI systems to execute these evaluations and provide Partners with tailored guidance on how they can improve their solutions You will also build and maintain other technical resources including the SaaS Builder Toolkit for AWS (https://github.com/awslabs/sbt-aws), technical workshops, and documentation. A day in the life In this role you'll work directly with AWS Partners to understand their systems' architectures and the friction points they experience with AWS. You'll work closely with other expert Solutions Architects to define and document patterns and approaches for addressing these issues. You'll author and maintain validation checklists and AI prompts that support automation tooling for our Programs You'll also lead internal and external enablement efforts to teach other SAs and our Partners about these topics. About the team The team you will work on owns the technical validation programs within the AWS Partner Network (APN). This includes programs such as the AWS Foundational Technical Review, AWS Competency, and the AWS Managed Service Provider Program. We own the definition of the technical criteria used to determine which Partners are most capable and most likely to deliver successful outcomes for our customers.
